Another thing no one  ever tells you about fitness? Setbacks are NORMAL!
Mis-steps are part of the  process and it’s unrealistic to expect you’ll be perfect. No one is! I miss workouts, have days when my eating habits leave  something to be desired, and have to take long breaks occasionally due  to illness or injury. It happens. Setbacks are NOT signs that you’re  weak, you’ve failed OR that you’ll never ‘get there’. They’re just signs  you’re human!  Everyone misses  their workouts at some point, life gets  crazy, and sometimes you’ll make bad decisions for a day, two days, or  even weeks on end. The important thing is to know that it happens to  EVERYONE. Don’t beat yourself up. Minimize damage if you can, get back  on track a.s.a.p, and simply do your best. Sometimes, a teeny fall off  the wagon makes you a better wagoneer! A bad day or two WILL  NOT negate all your progress, unless you let it!

Using this as personal motivation to get my huge ass back to the gym before the Bahamas.
